Due to irresponisble pet owners we have acquired feral kitty's.  It makes me angry that people do not take proper care of their pets! Last June a beautiful grey cat had her litter of kittens in our front shrubs.  As soon as we noticed these babes, we began to feed them.  We were only able to capture one with a humane trap.  We placed that little girl in a loving home.  We have been feeding these cats since that time. In November we were blessed with another Mommy kitty who brought her litter to our yard as well.  These kitty's are too clever and will not enter any trap that we set.   I worry about them in this cold Chicago winter weather.  Our babes will now enter our home to eat.  One will let me touch her if I am quick.  Some will eat from my hand.  We have named them and they know their names.   We pray each day that with the outdoor shelters and the nourishment that we provide them with will keep them safe...healthy...and warm. Please spay/neuter your pets and keep them as indoors!

We love these kittys and  we wish that they would decide to stay in our home with us. Sadly there are millions of feral cats...cats without anyone to love them. PLEASE BE RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERS!
